Today, more people are traveling then ever before. Why is this case? What are the benefits of traveling for the traveler?

Traveling both domestically and internationally has skyrocketed in the modern era when transportation is better, faster and cheaper and people have the desire to be in places they have never visited. The benefits of traveling, in my opinion, are in various aspects and profound.

To elaborate on the reasons for the many interests of people in traveling, globalization must take precedence. In the pre-globalization era, most people traveled to nearby places and had little access to remote locations in Indonesia. Globalization treats the world as a big country without limits and this has triggered the ignition of global tourism and travel for tourism. Busy people who often fly to cities, make holidays in different countries and this is all possible because of the concept of globalization.

In Indonesia there are so many diverse tribes, cultures and many beautiful natural attractions and recreation areas in Indonesia. I once visited the city of Malang which has many natural and cultural attractions. Malang city located in East Java, one of which I visited Mount Arjuna uphill with my friends, there I got a lot of experience, namely about travel and beauty in Mount Arjuna. Many domestic and international tours visit there to enjoy the beauty of Mount Arjuna. Based on my experience after chatting with international tourists the reason they went to Indonesia was to see the beauty of nature in Indonesia such as the beach and mountains.

With the presence of international tourists, Indonesia is better known by the world community for the beauty of its nature and culture. All of that can increase local and community income. The government must further improve tourism - tourism in Indonesia so as to increase interest to visit areas in Indonesia, not just the government with the help of domestic tourists.

In addition, many countries have treated tourism seriously and promoted their attractions around the world. Countries like Indonesia rely heavily on tourism and they do everything possible to bring more tourists to their homes. As a result, more people are traveling today. Advances in technology have enabled people to learn about the cities of the world and the desire to travel is increasingly accelerated by cheap flights and fast transportation. In addition, diversity in culture always brings new things. People can change new traditions and habits with differences in food, language, clothing, rituals.

The benefits of traveling to increase our knowledge and refresh our minds are probably the two main reasons people travel. Besides that, traveling makes us independent, eliminates our selfish views and allows us to experience a diversity of different cultures. This makes us more submissive to foreign cultures. The more we travel, the more we learn about the world in which we live.
